Galaxy Online

It is a recently introduced mmo-strategy game by igg (a few months ago?) and the community has been growing... pretty cool (similar to utopia but galaxy online is graphical)

Game Introduction

By the 28th century, with earth stripped bare of its precious natural resources, humanity has been forced to adapt to a new and harsh environment. Reaching further and further into the dark recesses of the universe in search of desperately needed materials, man has finally released himself from the confines of Earth and settled in far away galaxies.

However, as the course of human history fatefully shows, times of expansion are always superseded by times of war. Fighting for the rich resources available in distant galaxies, the powerful Kadry Group,Federation of Eir,Bakran League,Rofilla Consortium,Maya Clan,Rayman Empire... have become embroiled in bitter battles for supremacy and control over the universe.

Just wanted to let you guys know we have once again updated some things on the forums and wanted to share with you guys a list of some of the latest changes made :

  • All military insignia's added
  • All moderators will now have their names in green
  • Text for front page news for the Title and Body Text have been made larger for better ease of reading.
  • Recent Posts has been expanded to show last 10 posts made
  • Changed and listed the required number of post counts for each rank.

Some of the stuff in which are in the works for the upcoming weeks ahead are as follows :

  • To add a forum referral option / system.
  • To add a RSS News feed bot in which will pull MMO related articles off the web and post them on the forums in which can be discussed.
  • Will be removing the karma system ...

Private First Class - 50 Posts
Corporal - 100 Posts
Sergeant - 200 Posts

Master Sergeant - 1600 Posts
First Sergeant - 3200 Posts

For the Moderators (with Green names) , the titles are as follows and based on post counts :

Second Lieutenant - 0 Posts
First Lieutenant - 100 Posts

For the Administrators (with Red names) the titles are as follows and are based on participation and level of involvement in forum development which is determined by the General of the Army who is the highest ranking officer.
